The Anthony Paule Soul Orchestra (APSO) is a San Francisco-based ensemble founded in 2007 by guitarist and songwriter Anthony Paule. Drawing inspiration from the soul and blues sounds of the 1960s and 1970s, APSO has become known for its dynamic horn-driven performances and authentic vocalists. Over the years, the orchestra has collaborated with notable artists such as Frank Bey, Wee Willie Walker, and Terrie Odabi, earning 17 Blues Music Award nominations. Currently, the band features two-time Grammy-nominated vocalist Willy Jordan. Jordan’s commanding vocals and unpretentious stage presence, give audiences an honest, fresh, heartfelt experience.
